Before IRRI and PhilRice could bring their beta carotene-enriched “Golden Rice” to market, they needed a brand name, logo, and look that reflects the positive impact it can have on Filipino families’ health.
Brand Name, Logo, and Tagline
The brand name, logo, and tagline reflect how this rice variant is nutrient-rich thanks to its being enhanced with beta carotene, which the human body can convert into Vitamin A. The logo incorporates the image of family, farmers’ hats, and a golden grain of rice; all rendered in a color palette featuring bright yellow, vibrant green, and earthy ochre shades.
